The art on these pages are examples of collections of work completed over the past few years. Presently I am working at the OBS (Ofinina Bartolomueu Dos Santos) printmaking Studio in Tavira Portugal. Also in 2024 year I have been invited to work at Atelier Circulaire in Montreal on both my own projects preparing for an exhibit in the summer in Portugal and in collaboration with Katie Jung as a printmaking technician on her project supported by a residency at the studio and separate grant. Previously (2019-2023) I worked at the Printermedia Residency in Vancouver with the support of a Canada Council Grants. The residency allowed me to maintain a painting studio at Howe Street Studio’s and print at Malaspina print workshop on Granville Island and supported to exhibitions in 2023 titled “Loss” and “2022”.  I Typically I live in Victoria, Canada, where I both continue my practice as an artist and teach.  I have also worked in Berlin as a printmaker at the bbk Kulturewerk Druckwekstatt while maintaining a separate painting studio. In addition to working in Berlin I spent a similar period in both 2010 and 2017 working in New York both as a printmaker, at a residency at the Lower East Side Printshop, while painting in a studio in East Williamsburgh, Brooklyn.  I was trained at UBC where I received a B.Ed.  I went on to complete an MFA at the Slade School of Fine Arts in London.  I have exhibited in Victoria in both group shows and one-man exhibits and was represented for several years by Fran Willis.  In London I have shown my work at the Mall Gallery and the Royal Galleries Summer Show. Additionally, I have been represented by the Phillips Gallery in Salt Lake City.

The work here represents several directions for exhibits and I hope viewers will find interesting.  My intent is to show themes being developed in my paintings under the heading “Gallery.”  Since I work concurrently as a printmaker I have provided similar explorations using intaglio and paintings.  In addition I have selected a sample of work as a printmaker and have some current views of work on-going in the studio.
